structure of a crown to be made.
Prophy:
Cleaning teeth above the gum.
Deep cleaning and root planing:
Cleaning teeth above and below the gum using anesthesia.
Osseous (Gum) Surgery (Laser):
Cleaning teeth both below and above the gum line along with removing
inflamed, chronically infected tissue and jaw bone that are not supporting teeth.
Gingivectomy and frenectomy:
Removing excess gum tissue.
Tissue graft or recession coverage:
Replacing the receded gum.
Bone graft:
Restoring the jaw bone around the teeth and creating more
support for the teeth.
Crown lengthening:
Creating enough sound tooth structure for the general dentist to
be able to prepare a tooth for a crown.
Root amputation and retrofill:
In the case of root canal failure, removal of a root and/or correction of an
infected root via surgery.
Ridge augmentation:
Modifying the thickness of jaw bone both in addition or reduction to create an ideal condition for implant placement, bridge or denture construction.
